GMT Tutorial Exercise 4

Create a project for genotype data storage

  1. Select GEMDB, then select BROWSE.
    A list of existing projects is shown that you can View, Edit, Delete, or access the data for by clicking on File/Run.
  2. Click on Add (highlighted in green in the screenshot below).

  1. A new window will appear for entering the details of the new project, see the screenshot below.
  2. Select the Group where to import the file. Users within this group will have access to the new project. In the tutorial, choose "ARM demo".
  3. Enter a Project Name of your choice for the new project. For the tutorial, please choose "your name_demo".
  4. Enter a Description and Contact Details (e.g. email address) for the new project (optional).
  5. Define the user Access by selecting "Group Only" or "Public Access" from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Note: The same project can be used for genotype data stored in GEMDB (SSRs), in DARTS (DArT®s) and in SNPDB (SNPs).
