GMT Tutorial Exercise 31
Change the "species" entry for samples in SNPDB
- Select SNPDB then SEARCH.
- Select Project: "your name_demo" (as created in Exercise 4, and where demo genotype data was imported in Exercise 27. Please ensure both exercises have been completed beforehand.).
- Click Search. All the records previously imported are selected.
- In the Search History table, click on View Results next to the search just performed.
- Click on Tag all results, enter a new tag name and make sure the new tag is a SNPDB SAMPLE Tag, not a SNPDB TAG. Click Save.
- This automatically opens the TAGS»SNPDB SAMPLE interface. Alternatively, select TAGS from the GMT menu, then select the submenu option SNPDB SAMPLE.
- Click on Set Species next to the tag created in step 5 (link highlighted in green in the screenshot below). A new interface opens.
- Select "domesticated barley (112509: Hordeum vulgare subsp. vulgare)" from the Species drop-down box.
- Click Save. The "species" entry for all the tagged samples has now been updated.
