GMT Tutorial Exercise 30
Delete records from SNPDB
- If you haven't already done Exercise 29, do it now, searching for SNPDB records whose AR values fall outside the thresholds for homozygous and heterozygous genotype calls.
- Display search results as described in Exercise 29.
- Click on Tag all results, enter a new tag name and make sure the new tag is a SNPDB Tag, not a SNPDB SAMPLE TAG. Click Save.
- This automatically opens the TAGS»SNPDB interface. Alternatively, select TAGS from the GMT menu, then select the submenu option SNPDB.
- Click on Delete Markers next to the tag created in step 3 (link highlighted in green in the screenshot below).
- Tip: This will permanently remove all the tagged markers and associated allele scores from SNPDB, so be sure to use this option cautiously. The only way to retrieve the deleted markers is to re-import the related import file into SNPDB.
