Prepare a BINNER input file

  • Create a *.txt file with a list of the MRTTM marker names you would like to bin.
    • In Excel:
      1. Write the MRTTM marker names in the first folumn of a spreadsheet.
      2. Save the worksheet as a tab-delimited *.txt file
        • Excel 2003: Select File » Save As » Save as Type: "Text Document (*.txt)"
        • Excel 2007: Select Office button » Save As » Other Formats » Save as Type: "Text Document (*.txt)"
    • In Notepad:
      1. Write the MRTTM marker names into separate rows of a Notepad document without any other types of separators (e.g. commas, spaces, etc.)
      2. Save the file.
  • There is no limit to the number of markers that can be binned at a time.
  • Ensure that the list has no header row.
  • An example of a BINNER input file is shown below:
