GMT Tutorial Exercise 14

Search DARTS "“ find markers with a marker quality score of 90.00 and above

The search example below demonstrates how field-specific keyword searches of DARTS can be done.

  1. Select DARTS and then SEARCH.
  2. Select Tag: All
  3. Select Group: All
  4. Select Project: "your name_demo" (as created in Exercise 4, and where demo genotype data was imported in Exercise 12. Please ensure both exercises have been completed beforehand.).
  5. Select Other fields to be searched: 'Marker Quality' and enter '9_.__' as the term for which to search this field, as shown in the screenshot below. (GMT recognises wildcards '%' and '_'. "%" is used for any number of characters (including none), "_" is used for exactly one character, as in this example.)
  6. Select Marker: Any
  7. Leave the Allele Score field blank.
  8. Click Search.
  9. Click View results next to the corresponding item in the Search History table.
  10. Try the different display options ('Matrix View', 'Table view'). Try changing the columns in the 'Table view' with the select columns link to OPTIONS.
  11. Download the search result, if desired.
