GMT Tutorial Exercise 11
Delete all the results for a marker from GEMDB
- If you haven't already done Exercise 7, do it now, searching for marker hv0790.
- In the Search History table, click on View Results next to the search showing results for the marker you wish to delete.
- Click on Tag all results, enter a new tag name and make sure the new tag is a GEMDB Tag, not a GEMDB SAMPLE TAG.
- Save the new tag. This automatically opens the TAGS»GEMDB interface, see the screenshot below.
- Click on Delete Markers next to the tag created in step 3, highlighted in green in the screenshot.
- Tip: This will permanently remove all the tagged markers and associated allele scores from GEMDB, so be sure to use this option cautiously. The only way to retrieve the deleted markers is to re-import the related GeneMapper file into GEMDB.
The TAGS»GEMDB interface. The Delete Markers links are highlighted in green.
