GENica CMap leader

Diane Mather

  • Provides scientific leadership
  • Serves as key contact with national and international collaborators
  • Reviews and approves data standards and changes to data standards
  • Approves requests for exceptions to data standards, if appropriate
  • Approves requests for access to Staging, if appropriate

GENica CMap curator

Greg Lott

  • Enters map data into Staging and Live, in accordance with data standards
  • Transfers maps from Staging to Live, after verifying that these maps comply with the Live data standards
  • Upon request from users, provides advice on whether maps meet data standards
  • Corrects erroneous records that are brought to his attention by users
  • Communicates with software and database developers about software and database issues as required
  • Documents data standards and presents them to the GENica CMap leader for approval
  • Presents requests for exceptions to the GENica CMap leader
  • Communicates approved data standards and any approved exceptions to users / Prepares documentation for CMap installations as required

GENica CMap Staging admin users

(On 18 September 2007, these are: David Schibeci, Paula Moolhuijzen, Kerrie Willsmore, Julia Brueggemann, Klaus Oldach, Greg Lott)

  • Use the Staging installation
  • Add maps to Staging, in accordance with data standards
  • Edit their "own" maps in Staging, to refine and improve these maps and/or to prepare them for transfer to Live
  • Submit requests to CMap curator to transfer maps from Staging to Live

Anyone

  • Use the Live installation
  • May contact CMap curator and/or GENica curator for information or advice or to request changes or additions to CMap maps or installations
