GENica CMap leader
Diane Mather
- Provides scientific leadership
- Serves as key contact with national and international collaborators
- Reviews and approves data standards and changes to data standards
- Approves requests for exceptions to data standards, if appropriate
- Approves requests for access to Staging, if appropriate

GENica CMap curator
Greg Lott
- Enters map data into Staging and Live, in accordance with data standards
- Transfers maps from Staging to Live, after verifying that these maps comply with the Live data standards
- Upon request from users, provides advice on whether maps meet data standards
- Corrects erroneous records that are brought to his attention by users
- Communicates with software and database developers about software and database issues as required
- Documents data standards and presents them to the GENica CMap leader for approval
- Presents requests for exceptions to the GENica CMap leader
- Communicates approved data standards and any approved exceptions to users / Prepares documentation for CMap installations as required

GENica CMap Staging admin users
(On 18 September 2007, these are: David Schibeci, Paula Moolhuijzen, Kerrie Willsmore, Julia Brueggemann, Klaus Oldach, Greg Lott)
- Use the Staging installation
- Add maps to Staging, in accordance with data standards
- Edit their "own" maps in Staging, to refine and improve these maps and/or to prepare them for transfer to Live
- Submit requests to CMap curator to transfer maps from Staging to Live

Anyone
- Use the Live installation
- May contact CMap curator and/or GENica curator for information or advice or to request changes or additions to CMap maps or installations
