CMap Barley map

CMap is a web-based tool that allows users to view comparisons of genetic and physical maps. The package also includes tools for curating map data. (http://www.gmod.org/cmap/)

CMap is a component of the Generic Model Organism Project (GMOD), a joint effort by the model organism system databases WormBase, FlyBase, MGI, SGD, Gramene, Rat Genome Database, EcoCyc and TAIR to develop reusable components suitable for creating new community databases of biology.

MPBCRC CMap Installations

MPBCRC CMAP

MPBCRC CMAP contains genome maps for wheat, barley, oat and ryegrass. The Australian wheat and barley maps are curated in an on-going process led by Rudi Appels. Moreover, "composite" maps combining Australian and international maps are generated by Rudi Appels.

Maps presented in "Wheat C" and "Barley C" are the most up-to-date versions of both the curated and the composite maps.
"Wheat" and "Barley" contain earlier map versions and maps still being refined, as well as the component maps that were used to generate "composite maps".

Curation and exchange of maps are supported by a unique restricted-access "staging" version of CMAP. Staging users can import their own maps and generate composite maps. MPBCRC participants requiring staging access should contact the CCG.

LegumeDB CMAP

LegumeDB CMAP offers access to legume maps, including the first gene-based map of Lupinus angustifolius.

A restricted access "staging version" exists for LegumeDB. Staging users can import their own maps for curation and exchange. Staging access can be given to selected users, please contact the CCG for details.
