Log in to 'GENica Marker Tools'
Description
- Use this option to view and edit user details (including their "group administrator" status) and to add or remove users from 'GENica Marker Tools'

How to use this option
- To edit a user's group administrator status, click on the [EDIT] link next to the user's name. Other details (e.g. e-mail address, passwords) for users that have access to GENica in general can only be changed by logging into the GENica wiki and making changes in "Preferences". Some users only have access to 'GENica Marker Tools', for these, the EDIT option allows changing their details.
- To delete a user from 'GENica Marker Tools', use the [DELETE] option next to that user's name.
- To add a new user to 'GENica Marker Tools', use the [ADD] option.
- This will open an interface where details for the new user can be entered.
- Please make sure new users use the same username they use to log into the GENica wiki, and do provide an e-mail address.
- Passwords have to be at least 8 characters long.
- If a username is already recognised as existing in GENica, a warning is displayed. This is always the case when a user that already has access to the GENica wiki uses their GENica username. If this is the case, simply add 'GENica Marker Tools' to this user's profile by clicking on the SAVE button. If an existing username was accidentally chosen, please try another username.

Becoming a Group Administrator
- An existing group administrator can give a new or existing user GROUP ADMINISTRATOR status.
- The new group administrator will not automatically have administrative rights to the user groups that he/she has been added to as a user.
- However, if the group admin is added to a user group's list of administrators, or if the group admin creates new user groups, he / she then can administrate these groups (see section on ADMIN»GROUPS).
